Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Anubis Records ("Anubis Records", "we") collects through this website, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Account details: your name, email address and, if you add it, your phone number. Your password is stored only as a secure one-way hash; we can't read it.
• Booking requests: the service and package you choose, the date and time, your name, email, phone number, artist name and any notes you write, and whether your deposit has been paid.
• Messages you send through the contact form, including beat license, artist booking and release plan inquiries.
• Your email address if you sign up for our newsletter.
• A sign-in cookie that keeps you logged in. It contains a random code, not your details, and is removed when you sign out.

We don't use advertising or analytics trackers, and we don't sell your information.

Why we use it

• To run your account and show you your bookings and messages.
• To review, confirm, reschedule or cancel bookings, and to contact you about them.
• To answer your messages and inquiries.
• To send the newsletter you signed up for.
• To keep the site secure, for example by limiting repeated sign-in attempts and keeping a record of account activity.

Who we share it with

• Our payment processor, Stripe, if you pay a deposit online. Stripe collects your card details directly; we never see or store them. Stripe's own privacy policy applies to that information.
• Our email provider, which delivers the emails we send you (booking updates, replies and password reset links).
• Service providers that host or run this website for us, only as needed to provide it.
• Authorities, if the law requires it.

We don't share your information with anyone else for their own purposes.

How long we keep it

We keep your account until you delete it. Booking records are kept after an account is deleted, because we need them for our business and tax records. Messages and newsletter sign-ups are kept until you ask us to remove them.

Your choices and rights

• You can see and update your details any time under Account → Settings.
• You can delete your account under Account → Settings → Delete account. This erases your name, email and phone from your account.
• You can ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, or to delete messages, bookings or newsletter sign-ups, by emailing studio@anubisrecords.example.

Depending on where you live you may have further rights under local privacy law; contact us and we'll help.

Security

Passwords are hashed, sign-in attempts are rate limited, and the admin area is limited to studio staff. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a password you don't use anywhere else.

Children

This site isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top of this page.
